Now that we went through the foods you should eat throughout the day, you will discover the right meals to eat during your workout. It is a little counter-intuitive, but they are very different from the ones we mentioned in the part 1.
Simple carbs
Simple carbs are absorbed easily from the body. This makes them very convenient as a quick energy boost when you need it. Simple carbs are honey, sugar, and all kinds of sweets. We recommend only the former, since it is a completely natural and healthy product. Sugar and sweets are tempting, but they are not that healthy.
Water
Everyone keeps saying that your body should be always hydrated. And they are right! First – your brain needs water to function properly. In simple terms – if you don’t drink water, your IQ goes down temporarily. Of course, when you drink a few glasses of water, everything will be back to normal.
Water is very important for yous muscles as well. When they are doing work, they become heated. Then they need water in order to take away the heat. Just like your car. And if there isn’t enough water, you put them under excessive stress. You know what happens the next morning when you wake up.
Resting
Resting should be done properly, because it is also a crucial factor. Instead of lying down on the floor, go for a walk. This will get your blood flowing. And the blood delivers nutrients to the muscle – which will make it recover faster.
